Accomplishments

Some accomplishments as of 2008 are:

• The Renaissance Group led in the paving of five streets totaling seven blocks… significantly improving Rosemary Park
• Paint Your Heart Out Bonita was started 3 years ago under the auspices of the Renaissance Group, and is highly successful
• The partnership with the Bonita Springs Area Housing Development Corporation and the city has grown, particularly through Renaissance at Rosemary Park (RARP) which will provide 39 affordable homes (3 have been completed and 3 are under construction
• The Renaissance partnership with the city was essential for RARP to be affordable
• The Renaissance Group has been an active supporter of neighborhood rallies and soccer tournaments to foster community involvement
• The Renaissance Group funded and led the Coalition for Affordable Housing in 2007 which analyzed the need for affordable housing in Bonita Springs and presented a report to the City Council which has resulted in the City council funding further studies
